About The Role
We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. If you enjoy building clean, efficient server-side applications and working with modern technologies like GraphQL, cloud platforms, and databases, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Write reusable, testable, and efficient Python code
Integrate with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Use Linux environments for development, deployment, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
Participate in code reviews and maintain Git workflows (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)
Debug production issues and optimize application performance
Must-Have
Python Backend Developer Required Skills & Qualifications
2–3 years of professional backend development experience with Python
Strong understanding of REST API design principles (HTTP methods, status codes, authentication)
Experience building GraphQL APIs (using Graphene, Strawberry, or Ariadne)
Solid experience with SQL databases ( PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing optimized queries
Familiarity with at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis)
Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS EC2/RDS/Lambda, GCP Compute Engine, or Azure Functions)
Proficiency with Linux command line (bash, SSH, file permissions, process management)
Strong Git skills (branching, merging, rebasing, pull requests)
Good To Have
Experience with Docker and containerization
Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Celery)
Knowledge of API authentication (JWT, OAuth2)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Basic understanding of testing frameworks (pytest, unittest)
