Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Banarpal at the Turbotech Project (50 MW Unit-1) CSPSMAIN. The Mechanical Engineer will oversee mechanical systems and equipment associated with the power unit, including turbines, piping, and auxiliary machinery. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, performing diagnostics, supporting maintenance activities, and assisting in troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure safe and uninterrupted operation. The role involves preparing technical documentation, reviewing machine designs, coordinating with project and operations teams, and supporting implementation of upgrades and improvements. The Mechanical Engineer will also contribute to adherence to safety standards, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements within the plant.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with practical experience in industrial or power plant environments.
Proficiency in Machine Design and understanding of mechanical components and assemblies used in turbines and associated systems.
Ability to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, reviewing, and modifying mechanical drawings and layouts.
Experience with Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating mechanical work with cross-functional teams.
Capability to contribute to Research and Development (R&D) activities for performance improvement, reliability, and efficiency enhancements.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards, QA/QC practices, and relevant codes for mechanical systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
