Sales Engineer

Position Title: Sales Engineer – Steel Castings
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reporting To: Sales Head
Location: Kagal MIDC, Kolhapur
Purpose of the Role
Develop customers, generate enquiries, handle quotations and follow up with customers to convert enquiries into orders for heavy steel castings.
Key Responsibilities
 Develop new customers and maintain existing customer relationships.
 Visit customers and understand technical requirements.
 Handle enquiries, RFQs, drawings and specifications.
 Coordinate with Methoding, Production and Quality for feasibility and costing.
 Prepare and follow up quotations.
 Follow up enquiries and support order conversion.
 Coordinate customer requirements during order execution.
 Support resolution of customer complaints.
 Maintain enquiry, quotation and sales follow-up reports.
Exposure / Industry Knowledge
 Heavy & large steel castings
 Steel grades and casting processes
 Heat treatment and finishing
 Basic understanding of casting drawings and specifications
Qualifications
BE / BTech / Diploma – Mechanical / Metallurgy / Production MBA – Sales / Marketing preferred.
Experience
3–7 years, preferably in steel foundry / heavy engineering sales.
