Role Description The Video Editor role at GreySpace Design Studio is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for brand campaigns, social media, websites, and other marketing assets, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting and cutting scenes, adding transitions and sound, and collaborating with designers and writers to create cohesive visual stories. The role also involves color correcting and grading footage, incorporating motion graphics and basic graphic elements, and preparing final exports in required formats and resolutions. The Video Editor will work closely with the creative team, participate in brainstorming sessions, and contribute ideas that enhance the visual narrative and audience impact.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience assembling and refining narrative and promotional content.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading, including color correction and stylistic grading to achieve consistent, high-quality visuals.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and basic Graphics to support storytelling and brand identity.
Experience with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools).
Solid understanding of sound design basics, file formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for web and social media video content.
Strong visual storytelling instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret creative briefs and feedback constructively.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional creative teams on-site.
Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio showcasing video editing and motion work is required.
