Caretaker

THIS POSTING IS FOR TWO POSITIONS
Under direct supervision of the Building Services Unit Administrator the Caretake X will perform duties including but not limited to the following:
1. Drive department vehicles to General Services leased sites.
2. Pick up materials and supplies.
3. Assist in small building service repairs.
4. Provide emergency coverage in the event of power, water shutdowns.
5. Assist with managing building service email address.
6. Survey leased sites for repairs and overview contract repairs.
7. Drive department vehicles to multiple NYCHA-leased buildings.
8. Support the Building Services Technical Electrician with minor maintenance and janitorial repairs.
9. Conduct Crack Unit surveys across multiple leased locations.
10. Verify emergency calls and coordinate repairs with Building Services management.
11. Conduct building inspections.
12. Snow emergencies.
13. Conference room set ups and take downs including NYCHA Events.
Additional Information:
1. Possession of a valid driver's license is required. Applicants must have the ability to drive with manual transmission.
