Senior Software Engineer Python

We are looking for a strong Software Engineer to build and scale a high-performance algorithmic trading platform focused on real-time market data, strategy execution, order management, risk systems and scalable trading infrastructure.
What You'll Work On
Historical and real-time market-data processing.
High-throughput and scalable event-processing systems.
Order simulation, live execution and order management.
Real-time user and portfolio risk monitoring, management and analytics.
Broker and exchange integrations.
Backtesting and simulation infrastructure.
Design and development of reliable, performance-sensitive backend systems.
Manage and mentor the engineering team, ensuring effective execution and delivery.
Requirements
3–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in Python with solid software architecture and system-design skills.
Experience building production backend, real-time or data-intensive systems.
Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture or distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of APIs, databases and messaging/streaming systems.
Comfortable working with Linux and debugging complex systems.
Strong problem-solving, ownership and communication skills.
Rust or another systems programming language is a strong plus.
Preferred Technologies
Python, Rust, Redis, Pub/Sub, Flink, WebSockets, Docker, Linux, Google Cloud, event-driven systems and distributed systems.
Trading Experience – Plus
Experience in algorithmic trading, FinTech, market-data platforms, broker/exchange integrations, backtesting, execution or risk systems is advantageous. Experience with NautilusTrader, QuantConnect/LEAN, Backtrader, Zipline or similar platforms is a plus.
