Role Description The Energy Auditor will perform detailed on-site energy audits for industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities in Bengaluru. This full-time, on-site role involves inspecting electrical and mechanical systems, collecting and analyzing energy usage data, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The Energy Auditor will prepare clear audit reports, recommendations, and savings estimates, and present findings to customers and internal stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating site visits, engaging with customers to understand their operations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to support implementation of recommended measures.
Qualifications
Strong inspection and site assessment skills, including the ability to evaluate electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
Hands-on experience in auditing, energy audits, and assessment of energy performance for industrial or commercial facilities.
Knowledge of energy efficiency principles, energy-saving technologies, and best practices for reducing consumption.
Understanding of energy management systems, monitoring tools, and data analysis techniques related to energy usage.
Customer service and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical findings in clear, accessible language.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field; relevant certifications in energy auditing or efficiency are an advantage.
Proficiency with MS Excel and basic data analysis; familiarity with energy audit software or IoT-based monitoring tools is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site at customer locations in and around Bengaluru, manage multiple audits, and maintain accurate documentation.
