Job Description:
Representation in Courts (litigation): 2 - 5 years of previous experience/practice in the Supreme Court, in Family Law (including, inter alia, Domestic Violence Complaints, petitions for divorce, maintenance and/or custody) and civil laws
* Substantial experience in drafting, inter alia, SLPs, writ petitions, appeals, revision petitions, transfer petitions, complaints, evidence affidavits, civil suits, written statements/replies, replications/rejoinders, written submissions, admission/denial affidavits, and statements of claim, among other pleadings.
* Legal research and familiarity with legal search engines such as, inter alia, Manupatra / SCC Online.
* Due diligence and drafting/vetting of legal documents, contracts, and agreements
Qualification:
* LLM degree or its equivalent
* Prior experience and a keen interest in Family Law and Civil Laws, along with an inclination/openness towards handling matters in other fields of law simultaneously
* 2 - 5 years of professional working experience in litigation in Delhi
* Strong command over English, communication, and pleading skills
* Publications in legal journals/websites
