Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Mundra. The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment used in manufacturing operations, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing electrical drawings, reviewing specifications, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and troubleshooting electrical issues across production lines. The role involves monitoring power distribution and power systems, coordinating with maintenance and production teams, and recommending improvements to reduce downtime and optimize energy usage. The Electrical Engineer will also assist with preventive maintenance planning, vendor coordination, and documentation of electrical systems, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with a solid understanding of industrial manufacturing environments.
Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including the ability to read and create electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
Candidates should possess skills in Power Systems and Power Distribution, including analysis, optimization, and safe operation of plant-wide electrical networks.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience with industrial automation, motors, drives, and PLCs is beneficial.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and best practices in an industrial setting.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively on-site.
Effective communication skills and the ability to create clear technical reports and documentation.
