Position Summary
Kaseya is looking for a highly analytical and data-driven Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Advanced Excel to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights that drive strategic business decisions.
As a trusted business partner, you will collaborate with stakeholders across teams to understand business requirements, analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and develop interactive dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate combines strong technical proficiency with excellent communication skills and a passion for solving business challenges through data.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management
Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across multiple functions.
Translate business needs into clear reporting and analytics solutions.
Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven decision-making.
Act as a liaison between business teams and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
Perform detailed data analysis and reporting using Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, lookups, Power Query, and advanced analytical functions.
Validate data accuracy and maintain data integrity across reporting systems.
Develop recurring and ad-hoc reports to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Power BI Development
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Build efficient data models and implement DAX calculations to support advanced business analytics.
Create intuitive visualizations that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Monitor dashboard performance and continuously enhance reporting capabilities.
Insights & Decision Support
Analyze business performance indicators and provide recommendations to improve outcomes.
Identify key trends, risks, and opportunities through data-driven analysis.
Present findings, insights, and recommendations to leadership teams and key stakeholders.
Support business planning, forecasting, and performance management initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
Strong hands-on experience with Advanced Excel Analytics, including complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and data analysis techniques.
Expertise in Power BI, including:
Dashboard Development
DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
Data Modeling
Data Visualization Best Practices
Strong SQL skills with experience writing and optimizing complex queries.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience working in a fast-paced technology or SaaS environment.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Exposure to automation and reporting optimization initiatives.
Experience supporting business operations, sales, finance, customer success, or operational analytics.
