IT Project manager / Delivery Manager (SAP)

Role Description The IT Project Manager / Delivery Manager (SAP) will oversee end-to-end delivery of SAP projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for clients based in New Delhi. This full-time, on-site role involves defining project scope, timelines, and resource plans, coordinating cross-functional SAP teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client requirements. The role includes managing stakeholder communication, risk and issue tracking, and change management activities, as well as enforcing project governance and quality standards. The manager will collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable SAP solutions and continuously optimize delivery processes. Regular reporting on project status, financials, and outcomes to senior leadership and clients is also a core responsibility.
Qualifications
Strong SAP project management and delivery skills, including experience leading SAP implementation or rollout projects.
Proficiency in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder management.
Solid understanding of enterprise business processes and how they map to SAP modules and solutions.
Experience coordinating cross-functional IT and business teams, with a focus on collaboration and accountability.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for client-facing and internal engagements.
Ability to work on-site in New Delhi and manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications in SAP or project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) are a plus.
Prior experience in consulting or a similar professional services environment is highly beneficial.
