About the Opportunity:
The MEMBER OF TECHNICAL STAFF, MACHINE LEARNING role is centered on building and improving core machine learning components used in production systems. This position contributes by developing, fine-tuning, and maintaining models and data pipelines to ensure high accuracy, reliability, and performance. The role is crucial for advancing the organization's ML capabilities through iterative improvements based on real user feedback and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Build and enhance ML components including data processing, training, evaluation, and inference.
Fine-tune and adapt ML models within production systems.
Implement evaluation and testing frameworks to monitor model behavior.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for real and synthetic datasets.
Debug and resolve model and system performance issues.
Deploy iterative improvements informed by real-world usage.
Collaborate closely with senior ML engineers and product teams.
Operate under production constraints such as latency, cost, reliability, and safety.
Requirements:
Strong foundation in machine learning and neural network architectures.
Experience in artificial intelligence is required.
Hands-on experience with training, fine-tuning, or deploying ML models.
Ability to write production-quality code and quickly learn new tools.
Eagerness to learn from production system feedback and adapt accordingly.
Capacity to work with guidance through ambiguity and take increasing ownership.
Focus on shipping, iteration, and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with GPU computing, JAX, Python, PyTorch, and ML frameworks.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
USD 160000 to USD 190000 yearly
