Role Description This on-site Voice Over Artist role is based in Vienna and involves delivering professional voice performances for a range of audio and media projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing scripts, interpreting direction, and recording voiceovers for narration, commercials, promos, and other audio content. The Voice Over Artist will collaborate closely with producers, directors, and audio engineers to achieve the desired tone, pacing, and style for each project. Responsibilities also include participating in recording sessions, reviewing takes, and providing alternate reads to meet client requirements. The role requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to adapt to different genres, audiences, and project timelines.
Qualifications
Strong skills in voiceovers and narrator work, with the ability to deliver clear, expressive, and engaging vocal performances.
Acting abilities to interpret scripts, convey emotion, and authentically represent different characters or styles.
Basic to intermediate audio editing skills to review, refine, and prepare recordings for production when needed.
Experience or familiarity with radio-style delivery, including timing, diction, and microphone technique.
Professional vocal control, including breath support, articulation, and consistency across sessions.
Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback quickly, and collaborate effectively with production teams.
Reliable on-site availability in Vienna and flexibility to work within project-based schedules.
Previous experience in voice acting, broadcasting, or audio production is preferred but not strictly required.
