Role Description The Head of Information Technology will lead the overall IT function, ensuring that systems, infrastructure, and processes support FAMOUS KNIT’s strategic and operational goals. This full-time, on-site role is based in Tirupur and oversees IT operations, including network and server management, hardware and software administration, and cybersecurity. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing IT strategy, managing IT budgets, guiding digital integration across the manufacturing and supply chain ecosystem, and driving data-led decision-making through robust systems and reporting. The role will also involve leading an IT team, establishing policies and standards, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring that technology initiatives align with sustainability and process discipline goals. The Head of IT will be expected to evaluate and implement new technologies, manage vendors, and ensure high system availability and reliability.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology, with experience overseeing enterprise-wide systems and solutions.
Demonstrated expertise in IT Management and IT Operations, including team leadership, budgeting, and service delivery.
Proven ability to define and implement IT Strategy that supports business growth, process discipline, and digital integration.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure management, including networks, servers, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity controls.
Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments, ideally within apparel or similar industries.
Ability to drive data-led decision-making through ERP, MIS, analytics tools, and integrated digital platforms.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across leadership, operations, and sustainability teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
