Backend Engineer (.NET)

Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced a Backend Engineer (.NET) with a primary focus on backend development to join the core application development team, but also contributing to the front-end side of work as needed.
Your responsibilities will entail:
Develop and maintain backend application using .NET Framework and .NET Core;
Participate in the design and implementation of APIs and integration services with external systems;
Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Functional Analysts to analyze requirements and implement them in code;
Participate in code review, unit testing and QA processes from the development side;
Support bug fixing and optimization of existing code;
Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
3+ years of experience developing applications with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core;
Good knowledge of consuming and designing REST APIs;
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server or equivalent);
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with clear timelines;
Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps etc;
Basic knowledge of front-end technologies;
Prior experience in a banking or fintech environment.
