Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Choreographer and Film Editor. The role involves designing and rehearsing choreography for film, video, and live performance, collaborating closely with directors, performers, and production teams to translate creative concepts into movement. Daily tasks include planning and conducting rehearsals, blocking scenes, refining performance timing, and ensuring choreography aligns with narrative and camera work. On the film editing side, responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting and assembling clips, performing video post-production tasks, and integrating sound, music, and visual effects to deliver polished final cuts. The professional will manage project timelines, communicate clearly with clients and collaborators, and maintain high technical and artistic standards throughout the production and post-production process.
Qualifications
Strong video production skills, including camera familiarity and on-set coordination.
Proficiency in film editing and video post-production using industry-standard editing software.
Experience in post-production workflows, including cutting, color adjustments, and audio integration.
Understanding of new media formats and platforms for distributing video content.
Demonstrated experience in choreography for film or performance, with a strong sense of rhythm, timing, and storytelling.
Ability to collaborate with directors, performers, and technical teams, and to give and receive constructive feedback.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Portfolio or showreel showcasing choreography and edited work; formal education in film, media, dance, or related fields is beneficial.
