Production Operator III - 6AM-2PM

This role will be on Day shift, from 6AM to 2PM.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.21-$26.87 / hour.
Join our team as a Machine Operator! In this role, you will own machine setup, operation, and daily production, ensuring finished products meet customer quality standards in a safe, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
Setup & Operation: Perform routine machine setups, changeovers, and run production orders according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Quality & Inspection: Verify raw materials, inspect finished goods for appearance/specifications, and package orders securely for shipment.
Data & Equipment Management: Capture operating data, track downtime, and utilize computer software (MFG Pro) to maintain accurate production records.
Safety & Compliance: Safely manage, label, and handle materials (including hazardous waste) according to site Environmental Control Instructions.
Continuous Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams on problem-solving initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
What You Need to Succeed:
High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and comfortable learning computer applications.
Commitment to a safety-first mindset and high quality standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, obtain a Lift Truck Operator license, and work overtime as needed.
Preferred Requirements:
3-5+ year’s previous experience.
Solid interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical aptitude and logical problem solving skills.
Skilled in working independently in a safe and timely manner necessary.
Be motivated towards productivity, safety and quality improvements
Experience leading continuous improvement efforts and knowledge about ELS Operating Principles preferred.
Adaptive, flexible, able to handle ambiguity.
Experience working in a team environment.
