Role Description The Electrical Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The engineer will design and review electrical systems for projects, including power distribution networks, panel layouts, and protection schemes, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing calculations, drawings, and technical documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities at project sites. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, optimizing system performance, and providing technical guidance to project and maintenance teams. The engineer will also participate in risk assessments, safety reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency of electrical infrastructure.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity fundamentals.
Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including layout preparation, load calculations, and equipment selection.
Candidates should possess skills related to Power Systems, including analysis, protection, and system stability.
Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution, including low- and medium-voltage distribution design and coordination.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Approximately 6 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or similar roles.
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Proficiency with electrical design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP or similar software) is beneficial.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
