Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, build, and deploy AI models and tools that support clinical decision-making and operational efficiency at Life Medical Care. This full-time, on-site role is based in Politics of Chandigarh, where the engineer will collaborate closely with software developers, data scientists, and medical professionals to understand requirements and translate them into robust AI solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing algorithms for pattern recognition, implementing and training neural networks, and working with natural language processing (NLP) techniques to analyze medical text and documentation. The role also involves integrating AI components into existing software systems, optimizing model performance, validating results against clinical standards, and maintaining clear technical documentation. The engineer will participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and ensure that all AI solutions comply with relevant data privacy and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and experience in Software Development, including proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or C++).
Candidates should possess skills in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including experience with machine learning frameworks and techniques for training, evaluating, and optimizing models.
Candidates should possess experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as working with medical text, building text classification or information extraction pipelines, and using common NLP libraries.
Candidates should possess practical experience with data handling and analysis, including working with large datasets, data preprocessing, and model evaluation metrics.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicate complex concepts clearly, and document work thoroughly.
Familiarity with healthcare or medical data standards, data privacy practices, and regulatory considerations is beneficial.
Experience with cloud platforms, MLOps practices, or deploying AI models in production environments is an advantage.
