About AnuBio:
AnuBio is building a multicellular foundation model of the human immune system to transform drug discovery. Our platform, TRAILBLAZER™, creates predictive “digital twins” of patient immunity—enabling discovery of new therapies without predefined molecular targets.
We operate at the intersection of single-cell biology and AI, with active programs across immuno-oncology, autoimmune disease, and neuroinflammation. Our team includes scientists from leading global institutions, and we are rapidly scaling our data generation engine.
The Role: We are hiring a Scientist with expertise in cancer immunology and single-cell genomics to build experimental programs studying immune responses to therapeutic perturbations. You will design and execute immune-cell perturbation studies, develop and scale our single-cell genomics capabilities, and generate high-quality datasets for predictive modelling and therapeutic discovery. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who combines a strong understanding of immune biology with hands-on experimental experience.
What You’ll Do:
Design and execute immune perturbation experiments using primary human immune cells
Study immune activation, checkpoint biology and therapeutic response/resistance
Establish, optimize and scale single-cell RNA-seq workflows
Own experiments end-to-end, from experimental design & cell perturbation to library prep, QC and sequencing
Scale workflows to hundreds of samples/conditions and ~1M cells
Troubleshoot and improve assay quality, reproducibility, cost and throughput
Interpret single-cell data in the context of cancer immunology and therapeutic mechanisms
Collaborate with ML and computational biology teams on experimental design and predictive modelling
Build and mentor a growing wet-lab team
Required Qualifications:
PhD (or equivalent research experience) in immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, genomics or a related field
Strong experimental background in immunology and/or cancer immunology
Experience with cell prep (PBMCs, nuclei, fixation methods)
Hands-on experience with single-cell RNA-seq (Parse Evercode, SPLiT-seq, sci-RNA-seq, etc.)
Experience with NGS library preparation and QC
Strong understanding of experimental controls, biological variability and assay design
Ability to take ownership of experimental programs with minimal supervision
Preferred:
Direct Experience in tumor immunology, immune checkpoint biology or ICI cancer immunotherapy
Experience studying responses to cytokines, antibodies or other immune perturbations
Experience developing genomics assays (NGS, library prep, nucleic acids enzymatic assays)
Experience with flow cytometry and immune-cell phenotyping
Familiarity with single-cell analysis tools such as Scanpy or Seurat
Experience with automation or high-throughput experimental workflows
Who Thrives Here:
Connects biology, experiments and data to answer meaningful scientific questions
Takes ownership of complex experiments and troubleshoots independently
Curious about immune responses to perturbations and therapies and their underlying mechanisms
What We Offer
High-impact work at the frontier of AI, immunology and therapeutic discovery
Close collaboration with scientists, founders and ML team
Competitive salary
