Position Summary
Credence is seeking a Unaccompanied Alien Children Program Monitor to support monitoring, compliance, and oversight activities for programs serving unaccompanied children. This role is responsible for conducting monitoring reviews, assessing program performance, evaluating compliance with policies and procedures, and providing technical assistance to care providers and program stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work closely with federal staff, service providers, and community partners to assess program operations, identify areas for improvement, and support high-quality services for children and families. This position requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to conduct objective program reviews and evaluations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:
Conduct desk and on-site monitoring activities to assess program performance and compliance with established requirements.
Review policies, procedures, case files, records, and operational practices to evaluate program effectiveness.
Analyze program operations, performance data, and supporting documentation to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to care providers and stakeholders regarding program requirements and best practices.
Prepare monitoring reports, findings, recommendations, and follow-up documentation.
Support corrective action planning and follow-up activities designed to improve program performance and compliance.
Conduct interviews, observations, and document reviews as part of monitoring and assessment activities.
Monitor implementation of corrective actions and evaluate progress toward resolution of identified findings.
Collaborate with program staff and stakeholders to support quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records, monitoring documentation, and supporting materials.
Ensure monitoring activities are conducted objectively, consistently, and in accordance with established standards.
Support special projects, assessments, and program review activities as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Public Policy, Child Welfare, or a related field.
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience supporting program monitoring, compliance reviews, quality assurance, child welfare, case management, social services, human services programs, or related fields.
Experience conducting program reviews, compliance assessments, monitoring activities, audits, or quality assurance evaluations.
Experience providing technical assistance, guidance, or consultation to service providers, program staff, or stakeholders.
Knowledge of child welfare, case management, human services, or residential care environments.
Ability to analyze complex information, identify findings, and develop recommendations for program improvement.
Experience preparing monitoring reports, assessments, findings, and written recommendations.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to maintain objectivity, professionalism, and confidentiality while conducting monitoring activities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
