Role Description
The person in this role will help design, implement, and maintain server-side features for the HexBau platform, focusing on reliability, performance, and security. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, testable code, integrating with databases and APIs, assisting with troubleshooting and bug fixes, and collaborating with front-end developers to deliver cohesive functionality. The Junior Back-End Developer will work closely with senior engineers to refine requirements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation. The role offers exposure to industrial software workflows and the opportunity to grow within a supportive engineering environment.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in Programming and Software Development, with experience in at least one modern programming language.
Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them in practice.
Basic familiarity with Front-End Development to collaborate effectively with front-end teams.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow version control practices (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn from feedback and mentoring.
Comfort working remotely, with good communication and time-management skills.
Relevant education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience or interest in industrial, construction, or EHS-related software is a plus.
