Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. This full-time, on-site role is based in Surat and involves partnering with leadership to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices. The Human Resources Manager will manage HR documentation, payroll coordination with relevant teams, and compliance with local labor laws and company standards. The role also includes organizing training and development initiatives, supporting employee engagement programs, and addressing HR-related queries and concerns. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to support a growing logistics-focused workforce.
Qualifications
Strong skills in recruitment, talent acquisition, and onboarding to build and maintain a high-performing workforce.
Experience with performance management, employee engagement, and employee relations to support a positive workplace culture.
Knowledge of HR policies, labor law compliance, and HR documentation, including contracts, records, and regulatory reporting.
Ability to manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, and basic HR analytics for data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills for interacting with team members at all levels.
Proficiency with HR software or HRIS platforms and basic office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software).
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role; experience in logistics, supply chain, or related sectors is a plus.
