Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Rewari. The Mechanical Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and systems, including detailed machine and component layouts using CAD tools. Daily activities include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, performing calculations and simulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality, and procurement to support product development and improvement. The role involves participating in R&D projects, troubleshooting technical issues on the shop floor, and supporting project planning, documentation, and timely execution. The Mechanical Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement, cost optimization, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to apply core principles to product and process design.
Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for developing and modifying mechanical components and assemblies.
Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including testing, analysis, and implementation of design improvements.
Project Management skills to plan tasks, track progress, coordinate with stakeholders, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials selection, and quality standards in an industrial or automotive environment.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and use basic engineering analysis tools.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site in a plant environment.
Knowledge of industry safety practices and willingness to follow organizational safety and compliance requirements.
