Role: Senior Informatica Developer
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 5-7 Years
Responsibilities:
ETL Development: Create, optimize, and maintain DataStage parallel jobs, sequences, and routines to move data from various sources to target data warehouses and data marts.
Data Transformation: Implement complex business logic using transformer stages, lookups, joins, aggregations, and sorting mechanisms.
Database & SQL Optimization: Write and optimize advanced SQL and PL/SQL queries to extract and manipulate data in relational databases like Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
Scripting & Automation: Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate job scheduling, file monitoring, and operational pipelines.
Troubleshooting & Support: Monitor job execution, perform root cause analysis on failed data loads, and provide production support for data processing cycles.
Collaboration: Work with data architects, business analysts, and testers to translate business rules into source-to-target mappings and technical specifications. Work closely in a “one team approach with all stakeholders during all phases of the SDLC, jointly providing high quality deliverables
Testing: Participate in the testing phases (system, user acceptance, regression…) as required while coordinating with BA, IT and QA teams
AI: Use AI tools LLM, API’s etc
