Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive – Marketing / Business Development to drive our commercial outreach, expand our client base, and build strategic relationships within the maritime and logistics sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and secure new business opportunities in ship agency, husbandry services, international freight forwarding, liner services, NVOCC, and container trailer bookings.
* Build and maintain robust relationships with cargo owners, exporters, importers, vessel owners/operators/managers, crew/technical managers, and industry stakeholders.
* Promote comprehensive port agency services and coordinate closely with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Handle basic import and export documentation as well as client inquiries regarding port tariffs and operational procedures.
* Formulate targeted marketing pitches and proposals to position GREEK Shipping Agencies LLP as a preferred logistics partner.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of proven experience in Ship Agency, Ship Supplies, Husbandry Services, International Freight Forwarding, Liner Services / NVOCC, freight booking, and container logistics.
* Knowledge: Sound practical understanding of ship agency operations and basic import/export documentation processes.
* Education: Minimum Graduation degree from a recognized institution.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with international clients, shipowners, and stakeholders.
* Location Preference: Native of Vizhinjam / Trivandrum or candidates willing to relocate locally.
