Role Description The Senior Public Relations Manager will lead PR strategy development and execution for key clients, overseeing media relations, press materials, and integrated communication plans. This full-time, hybrid position is based in Mumbai, with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing press releases, organizing media interactions, managing crisis communication plans, and shaping brand narratives across traditional and digital channels. The role involves mentoring junior team members, coordinating with digital and influencer teams, and providing strategic consultation to clients in sectors such as BFSI, tech, and startups. The Senior Public Relations Manager will also monitor media coverage, analyze campaign performance, and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance reputation and visibility.
Qualifications
Strong public relations foundation, including Public Relations and Media Relations skills to manage press outreach and build long-term media partnerships.
Expertise in Strategic Communications and Communication to design clear, consistent messaging aligned with client brand and business goals.
Proficiency in creating and managing Press Releases, from concept and drafting to distribution and follow-up with relevant media outlets.
Experience in crisis communication, reputation management, and integrated PR–digital campaigns, ideally within BFSI, tech, startup, or related sectors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present strategies and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, manage multiple accounts, and work effectively in a hybrid environment based in Mumbai.
Strong analytical skills to interpret media coverage, campaign metrics, and industry trends and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; advanced certifications in PR or digital communications are an advantage.
