Remote Loan Officer – Business Purpose Lending

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Remote Loan Officer – Business Purpose Lending to originate and develop loan opportunities for real estate investors and business-purpose borrowers.
This is a remote, production-focused lending role for someone who understands investor lending and is comfortable generating business through professional relationships, referral partners, brokers, investors, and their existing network.
Important clarification: Although this position functions as an outside-sales lending role, it is not door-to-door sales or field canvassing. “Outside sales” refers to independently developing business, building referral relationships, and generating loan volume rather than relying solely on inbound leads.
What You’ll Do
Originate business-purpose real estate loans for investors and borrowers.
Develop and maintain relationships with real estate investors, brokers, referral partners, developers, and other industry professionals.
Generate new loan opportunities through networking, outbound prospecting, referrals, and existing relationships.
Consult with borrowers to understand their investment goals and identify appropriate financing solutions.
Educate borrowers on available lending products, qualification requirements, documentation, and the loan process.
Manage opportunities from initial conversation through application, underwriting, and closing.
Maintain consistent communication with borrowers and internal lending teams throughout the transaction.
Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified lending opportunities.
Track follow-up activity, borrower communications, and pipeline progress.
Consistently work toward individual production and loan-volume goals.

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Loan Officer, Mortgage Loan Originator, Business Purpose Loan Officer, Private Money Loan Officer, Non-QM Loan Officer, or similar lending professional.
Experience originating or selling business-purpose, investor, DSCR, fix-and-flip, bridge, private-money, commercial, or related real estate lending products.
Demonstrated ability to generate new business and develop professional referral relationships.
Strong understanding of the loan origination and closing process.
Ability to communicate lending guidelines and financing options clearly to borrowers.
Strong sales, relationship-development, follow-up, and pipeline-management skills.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Ability to manage multiple active borrowers and loan opportunities simultaneously.
