We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.
Responsibilities:
Manage commercial vehicle registrations, plates, permits, and operating authorities across applicable Canadian provinces and U.S. states, including KYU, New Mexico, Oregon, New York HUT, DTOPS, and other required permits.
Administer IRP and IFTA requirements and ensure registrations, permits, and renewals are completed accurately and on time.
Coordinate ministry-related activities, including plating document submissions and pickups, truck binder updates, and authority updates at yards and terminals.
Maintain current in-cab compliance documentation and coordinate annual permit and registration renewals with drivers and terminals.
Coordinate new truck and asset induction, including registrations, plating, permits, truck binders, toll tags, safety-related inventory, and required compliance documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable MTO, DOT, federal, provincial, and state regulations, and monitor regulatory changes affecting fleet operations.
Maintain accurate digital and physical records of registrations, permits, authorities, inspections, maintenance, and compliance documentation in the TMS and related systems.
Coordinate periodic equipment inspections with drivers, dispatch, and terminal maintenance teams, obtain required maintenance documentation, and update compliance records.
Maintain periodic maintenance and compliance records for owner-operators.
Provide support for fleet-wide inquiries related to documentation, breakdowns, Hours of Service (HOS), fuel, safety, permits, and general compliance matters.
Support Canadian and U.S. terminal teams with administrative and compliance-related activities.
Coordinate with drivers, owner-operators, dispatch, maintenance teams, terminals, government agencies, and other stakeholders to resolve documentation and compliance issues.
Ensure all required fleet documentation is accurate, current, organized, and available for operational and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Report Generation: Possesses the ability to generate simple reports using basic functions in software and/or writing basic queries
Knowledge of DOT regulations
Knowledge of Truck maintenance and repair is required
Availability to work either a Saturday or Sunday as part of your regular weekly schedule required
Willingness to work in an office environment that is open 24*7, 365 days a year
