Role Description The Vice President of Product Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for defining and executing product strategy across Sterling Financial Holdings’ platforms and businesses. This role oversees the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including market analysis, roadmap development, requirements gathering, and prioritization of features. The Vice President will collaborate closely with executive leadership, technology, operations, and commercial teams to align products with business objectives and customer needs. Day-to-day activities include leading product managers, reviewing performance metrics, guiding go-to-market plans, and ensuring efficient project delivery. The role also involves advocating for data-driven decisions, fostering cross-functional alignment, and continuously improving product processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong product strategy and product management skills, with experience owning end-to-end product lifecycles.
Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, define metrics, and make evidence-based decisions.
Demonstrated team leadership capabilities, including mentoring product teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management, with a track record of delivering initiatives on time and within scope.
Experience in financial services, fintech, or platforms-based businesses is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fully remote environment.
Strategic thinking, customer-centric mindset, and comfort working in fast-paced, evolving markets.
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
