Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Counselor role based in Karnal. The Counselor will meet with students and families to understand their educational goals, explain available programs and pathways, and recommend suitable courses or institutions.
Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, maintaining accurate records of inquiries and follow-ups, and helping learners navigate application procedures and documentation. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to schedule classes or events, providing regular updates to students, and responding to questions in person, by phone, and through digital channels.
The Counselor is expected to uphold high ethical standards, ensure clear communication, and contribute to a welcoming and supportive center environment.
Qualifications
Strong counseling and guidance abilities, with a focus on understanding student needs and recommending appropriate educational options.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear speaking, active listening, and the ability to build trust with diverse learners and families.
Organizational and administrative skills, such as maintaining records, managing appointments, and following up on inquiries in a timely manner.
Comfort with basic digital tools and office software for data entry, report preparation, and professional communication.
Knowledge of academic programs, admissions processes, and study-abroad or competitive exam pathways, or willingness to learn quickly.
Ability to work on-site in Assandh, collaborate with colleagues, and adapt to a dynamic, student-focused environment.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field, and prior experience in student counseling or educational services.
