FP&A Manager

Taekus is a profitable fintech and travel startup building a next-generation premium banking and rewards ecosystem for affluent customers. With $100M+ in annual revenue and $4B+ in annual transaction volume, we’re entering a new stage of growth focused on scaling our core banking systems, rewards infrastructure, and partner integrations.
We’re hiring an FP&A Manager to help turn our financial data into better business decisions. You’ll own our forecasting and planning processes, build models that help leadership understand where the business is going, and connect financial performance to the underlying drivers of the business.
You’ll report to the CEO and work closely with leadership and teams across the company. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building the processes and models themselves, rather than simply managing them.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Build and maintain financial models that connect revenue, expenses, transaction volume, customers, rewards to unit economics and other business metrics.
- Produce monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, explaining what changed and why.
- Support strategic planning, fundraising, capital planning, and other major company initiatives.
- Build scenario models to evaluate new products, partnerships, hiring plans, and other business decisions.
- Work closely with accounting to ensure actual financial results are accurately reflected in our models and forecasts.
- Support ad hoc analysis and data-driven decision making across the organization.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in finance.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and how operational activity flows through to financial results.
- Experience owning budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience with BI and data viz tools like Power BI or Metabase.
- Fintech, banking, payments, lending, or financial services experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools to do real work.
- Has worked with startups.
