Data Quality Analyst

NOTE: This role does not offer Relocation or Sponsorship. Applicants must be eligible to work in Isle of Man
Responsible for input into the development and implementation of the data quality and reporting strategy as well as remediation strategies. Responsible for monitoring all operational efforts to remediate data across business units. Ensures consistency of use of the data quality artefacts across the relevant business units.
Minimum Qualification:
First Degree in Information Technology
Experience Required :
3-4 years experience in Data & Analytics
Data management experience with knowledge of data quality. An understanding of data quality management relating to financial services data.
Knowledge of systems and data principles that form the basis for data quality management. Project management experience as well as exposure to governance and regulatory matters as they relate to data.
Key Outputs :
Assist in the enforcing and embedding approved governance principles and policies. Escalate any data element governance violations. Participate in and adhere to I.T. Production change governance requirements.
Executes against the defined data standards and business rules for data capture and usage and manages them appropriately in partnership with the Data Stewards and business stakeholders.
Identify critical data elements in conjunction with the Data Stewards/Data Managers to ensure that business rules are signed off for data quality.
To ensure that regular data extraction and profiling for the customer domain is done in order to inform the data quality level.
To ensure that large volumes of data are profiled regardless of source system.
