This Dental Assistant position supports multiple departments within the School of Dentistry based upon clinical needs. The position requires flexibility and willingness to adapt to new situations and processes based upon the specific department that is being supported for each shift. Under the supervision of a dentist, provides chair side dental support to dentists, dental students, or dental hygienists. Prepares work station, instruments, and materials, and escorts patient to the work station. Provides 4 and 6-handed dental assistance support for OHSU dental practices.
