Solutions Architect

Role Description The Solutions Architect role at QC Tech is a part-time, remote position focused on designing and guiding technology solutions that align with client business needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating business objectives into technical architectures, and producing clear solution designs and documentation. The role involves working closely with software development teams to ensure implementations follow architectural standards, overseeing system integration efforts, and troubleshooting issues across applications and services. The Solutions Architect also participates in consulting engagements, advising clients on best practices, recommending improvements to existing systems, and supporting ongoing optimization of business processes and technology platforms.
Qualifications
Ability to design and document end-to-end solutions, with strong skills in Solution Architecture and Integration.
Experience in client-facing work, including Consulting and analyzing Business Process requirements.
Hands-on background in Software Development, with the ability to work effectively with engineering teams and understand technical constraints.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to balance technical feasibility, scalability, security, and cost.
Proficiency with modern cloud platforms, APIs, and integration patterns (e.g., microservices, REST, message queues) is highly beneficial.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
