Role Description This Interior Designer internship is a hybrid role based in Ujjain, with a combination of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning concepts, supporting the development of interior design proposals, and helping prepare mood boards, material palettes, and presentations. The intern will assist in creating and updating construction drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, and organizing vendor and supplier information. Additional tasks may involve site visits, documenting measurements, collaborating with senior designers, and maintaining project files to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to support functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to assist with technical plans and design documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in FF&E to help select and coordinate furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with design concepts.
Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and basic proficiency in design or drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) are beneficial.
Effective communication, ability to follow design direction, and willingness to learn in a collaborative studio environment are expected.
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
