About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Third Way is a national think tank and advocacy organization that champions moderate policy and political ideas. Since our founding in 2005, we have served as a critical bulwark against political extremism by advancing values-driven, reform-oriented solutions on the defining issues of our time. Our work is grounded in the mainstream American values of opportunity, freedom, security, and democratic capitalism, and we advocate for the vital center across seven major areas: climate and energy, economy, education, health care, national security, politics, and social policy.
Third Way is looking for an Executive Coordinator to provide support for the Development and External Affairs team on scheduling, administrative needs, event support, research, and other duties as assigned. This work will directly advance Third Way’s political and policy objectives in the Administration and Congress.
As the Executive Coordinator for the Development & External Affairs team, a typical day might include…
Serving as the primary administrative support for the fundraising, events, and external affairs functions of the Development & External Affairs team;
Managing schedules, calendars, meeting set-up, and logistics as well as ensuring appropriate follow-up for senior team members;
Providing logistical support for events that can include scheduling, arranging travel, managing check-in onsite, drafting invitations, tracking RSVPs, making catering arrangements, drafting event briefings, and scouting venues;
Providing background research in preparation for meetings and events;
Recording notes from team meetings and distributing relevant to-dos and action items; and,
Maintaining internal records, calendars, and shared databases.
-----------------------------------------
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000, annually
At Third Way, we are committed to non-discrimination and fair pay practices. The final starting salary offer will be determined based on your experience and qualifications.
