Amerex - 27 Set Up Technician

The Setup Technician will use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fixtures to investigate and correct various issues with the lines in the PEX department.
Utilize hand tools or machines to investigate, disassemble and assemble parts.
Come in before the production shift starts to prepare the lines for the day.
Ensure the line is operating efficiently by reading faults and correcting them quickly.
Fast thinking to recognize problems and fix them as quickly as possible.
Communicate with others when a problem is more than their ability.
Walk at a brisk pace for most of the day.
Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
Be trained in other department technician roles, to be able to fill in if another department needs a technician.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company work and safety rules, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Demonstrate manual dexterity - the ability to precisely assemble parts/assemblies on fast paced production line.
Comprehend and follow blueprints, work instructions, EHS, and job procedures, Job Safety Analysis, and applicable paperwork.
Communicate efficiently with team members.
Perform other duties as required.
