Genomics is a science-led transatlantic TechBio combining large-scale genetic and health data with proprietary analytics to accelerate drug discovery and advance predictive, preventative healthcare. Genomics aims to help people live longer, healthier lives in two ways: super-charging drug discovery and development for novel treatments with our AI-enabled advanced genetic analytics platform, and by helping people understand their personal risk of common chronic diseases through polygenic risk scores - giving doctors and health systems the chance to get the right people into the right prevention, screening and treatment programmes at the right time.
ROLE PURPOSE
We're building a dedicated delivery team around one of our most important partnerships, and we need an experienced Project Manager to make it work.
This is a client-facing role with the feel of a consulting engagement. You'll set up and embed a multidisciplinary team, then coordinate delivery across our various internal functions
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Building and running the integrated delivery plan for the account: milestones, dependencies, risks and resourcing.
- Bringing together the right people from across Genomics and getting a new team working as one, fast.
- Running the delivery rhythm with our partner, including status meetings, reporting and a clear route for escalations.
- Working with Finance on budgets, forecasts and commercial milestones, and with Legal on scope and contract changes.
- Spotting blockers early and clearing them before they slow the team down.
- Keeping senior stakeholders on both sides informed, aligned and confident.
WHO YOU ARE
- A project manager who has delivered consulting-style projects for life sciences clients (pharma, biotech or healthcare).
- You've set up and embedded a team with a client to deliver a large project, rather than only managing internal projects.
- You've worked in a scale-up and know how to build structure where there isn't much yet.
- You're comfortable working across Engineering, Finance, Legal and People stakeholders, and can translate between them.
- You're highly organised, a clear communicator, and ready to hit the ground running.
