About Haumex AI
Haumex AI is an early-stage AI and software venture building intelligent products for scientific, biomedical, engineering, and other real-world applications.
One of our products is Haumexyn, a molecular intelligence platform being developed to provide researchers and other users with tools for working with molecular and biological data. We are building the platform iteratively and are looking for talented contributors who want to help shape the product from an early stage.
About the Role
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to take a leading role in shaping the user experience and visual design of the Haumexyn platform.
This is an opportunity for a designer who enjoys working on complex technical products and turning scientific and data-heavy workflows into interfaces that are clear, intuitive, and easy to use.
You will work closely with the product and engineering team to design and improve platform interfaces, user flows, dashboards, workflows, data visualizations, and other product experiences.
What You Will Do
Design intuitive and professional interfaces for the Haumexyn biomedical AI platform.
Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Design dashboards and interfaces for complex scientific and molecular data.
Develop and maintain a consistent design system and reusable UI components.
Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
Review existing platform interfaces and identify opportunities to improve usability and clarity.
Translate technical and scientific workflows into understandable user experiences.
Participate in product discussions and contribute ideas about how the platform should evolve.
Iterate designs based on team feedback and user requirements.
Help establish the visual identity and overall product experience of Haumexyn.
What We Are Looking For
Strong UI/UX design skills and a portfolio demonstrating practical design work.
Experience with Figma or a comparable professional design tool.
Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity interfaces.
Strong understanding of usability, information architecture, typography, layout, and responsive design.
Ability to design interfaces for data-heavy or technically complex products.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of design tasks.
Interest in AI, biotechnology, biomedical technology, scientific computing, or other technical products is highly valuable.
A formal degree is not required if you can demonstrate strong design ability through your portfolio and previous work.

Compensation
This is currently an unpaid, equity-based opportunity. There is no fixed salary at this stage. Selected candidates will be offered equity participation subject to the venture's equity structure and a formal agreement outlining the applicable terms.
Work Arrangement
This is a remote opportunity. Candidates may be located internationally, provided they can collaborate effectively with the team.
