Job Summary
First American (India) is looking for an experienced Payroll & Statutory Compliance professional to join our team in Bangalore.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in payroll processing, statutory compliance, and employee-related payroll activities. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, eager to learn, and able to manage deliverables within defined timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end payroll activities and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Manage statutory compliance requirements related to payroll.
Ensure adherence to applicable payroll policies, processes, and timelines.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders for payroll inputs, clarifications, and issue resolution.
Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.
Support payroll reconciliations, validations, and compliance activities.
Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of payroll-related deliverables.
Support audits and provide required payroll and compliance documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and better operational efficiency.
Required Skills
4 to 7 years of relevant experience in Payroll and Statutory Compliance.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work within strict timelines.
Adaptive and flexible approach to work.
Eagerness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
