ServiceNow Change and Release Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ServiceNow Change and Release Manager based in Netherlands.
This is a fully remote freelance opportunity focused on end-to-end governance of Change and Release Management within an enterprise IT environment.
You will take primary ownership of ServiceNow change and release processes, ensuring they are controlled, compliant, and aligned with business and technology requirements.
The role operates in a strictly regulated GxP environment, requiring strong knowledge of validation evidence, audit requirements, and risk-based change assessment.
You will coordinate complex release schedules across platform configurations, custom integrations, and vendor-driven updates.
The position also involves leading Change Advisory Board meetings and representing platform governance in cross-functional and executive forums.
You will apply ITIL principles across Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management to minimize disruption to production environments.
Success requires strong autonomy, sound technical judgement, executive communication skills, and the ability to make governance decisions independently.
