Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist Consultant to join our remote team on a consulting basis. This role is designed for a clinician dedicated to conducting direct patient sessions, providing compassionate care, and navigating sensitive mental health, personal wellness, and intimacy topics with clinical rigor and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care & Sessions
• Clinical Consultations: Conduct one-on-one virtual therapy and counseling sessions with patients, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions for anxiety, relationship dynamics, and personal wellness.
• Patient Assessment: Evaluate client needs through structured clinical intake, active listening, and empathetic telecommunication, ensuring personalized and effective support pathways.
• Ethical Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to professional psychology ethics, and manage client records securely in a digital health environment.
Clinical Operations & Guidance
• Complex Case Support: Handle nuanced patient cases with high emotional intelligence and clinical expertise.
Content & Stigma Reduction
• Educational Advocacy: Research complex psychological topics and collaborate with the team to translate clinical insights into awareness content (posts, reels, and educational resources) aimed at breaking societal taboos.
• Community Resources: Help design psychoeducational materials and workshops for our community and practitioners.
Qualifications & Expertise
• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years
• Licensure & Standing: Valid professional license/registration to practice psychology.
• Core Competencies: Strong active listening, exceptional clinical empathy, and an uncompromising commitment to client confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Digital Proficiency: Hands-on familiarity with teletherapy and telehealth tools, alongside comfort in delivering care remotely.
