Role Description This is a full-time Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer role based in Hyderabad, structured as a hybrid position with some work-from-home flexibility. The CNC Programmer will create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and other machining operations, ensuring parts meet dimensional and quality specifications. Daily responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and machining strategies, setting up or guiding machine setups, and troubleshooting programming and machining issues. The role involves coordinating with machine operators and production supervisors, verifying first-off components, and making program adjustments to improve cycle time, tool life, and surface finish. The CNC Programmer will also maintain documentation, follow safety and quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong CNC Programming and Programming skills for creating, editing, and optimizing machine programs.
Candidates should possess solid Machining and Milling skills to understand cutting conditions, tooling, and practical shop-floor constraints.
Candidates should possess Technical Drawing skills to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.
Candidates should possess familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Mazak ) for efficient program generation.
Candidates should possess attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operators, engineers, and supervisors.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in CNC machining and programming.
Experience in a precision manufacturing environment and knowledge of ISO or similar quality systems is beneficial.
