Role Description This is a full-time Public Relations Intern role in a hybrid work arrangement, primarily based in Bengaluru with some flexibility for work from home. The intern will support day-to-day PR activities, including drafting press releases, preparing media briefs, and assisting in the development of communication materials. Responsibilities include coordinating with media outlets, maintaining media contact lists, and tracking coverage and campaign performance. The intern will help organize events or virtual engagements, participate in brainstorming sessions, and contribute to social media and content initiatives when required. The role involves close collaboration with the PR and marketing teams, attending internal meetings, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Press Releases and Public Relations to support core PR activities.
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Strategic Communications skills to develop clear, consistent messaging.
Candidates should possess Media Relations skills to assist in building and maintaining relationships with journalists and outlets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Basic understanding of social media platforms and interest in media, branding, and corporate communications.
