Key Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
Administer, monitor, and optimize MongoDB databases in production environments.
Manage and support cloud-native databases including Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Neptune, Google Bigtable, and Google Firestore.
Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery readiness of database platforms.
Collaborate with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support database-driven solutions.
Troubleshoot database issues and implement proactive monitoring and automation.
Responsibilities
Required Skills
Strong experience with MongoDB DBA administration and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with DynamoDB, Neptune, Bigtable, and Firestore.
Experience working in AWS and/or GCP public cloud environments.
Knowledge of database backup/recovery, replication, clustering, and security best practices.
Good understanding of automation, scripting, and monitoring tools.
Preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical enterprise applications.
