A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Service Engineer for Rotating Equipment, you will play a key role in supporting the reliability and performance of critical power generation assets. You will analyze operational data, assess component condition, and help identify technical risks to ensure optimal turbine performance. Working closely with engineering colleagues, project teams, and customers, you will support outage planning and execution while contributing to technical investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Every day brings a mix of analytical problem-solving, collaboration, and hands-on engineering support in a dynamic international environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Monitor the operation of Large Gas Turbine components and provide condition-based technical assessments to support reliable and efficient performance.
Collect and evaluate operational data while coordinating risk analyses to assess Gas Turbine performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Prepare outage plans and project-specific checklists to support successful maintenance activities and project execution.
Provide technical support during outages, both on site and remotely, including technical clarifications, troubleshooting activities, and lessons learned reviews.
Participate in technical projects, root cause analyses, and customer meetings to investigate issues and implement sustainable corrective actions and solutions.
What You Bring
A completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification, combined with a basic understanding of gas turbines, turbomachinery, or power plant technologies.
Initial experience with technical projects, project management, risk analyses, data evaluation, or technical documentation processes would be considered an advantage.
A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills, teamwork, and a collaborative way of working.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Oracle, Power BI, or low-code programming languages is considered a plus.
Fluency in English and flexibility to support business travel and participate in the Engineering 24/7 hotline on demand (approximately 20%).
