Forward Deployed Engineer

Full-time
We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our team and help bridge the gap between product and customer. As an FDE, you’ll work directly with our customers to understand their technical needs, build custom solutions, and ensure they get the most out of our platform. You’ll be deeply technical, but also comfortable collaborating cross-functionally — with product, customer success, and engineering teams.
This is not a typical support or integration role — it’s about building real solutions, solving hard problems in the field, and helping shape how our product evolves based on frontline feedback.
Responsibilities
Deploy, extend, and customize our platform to meet customer-specific requirements
Build scalable integrations, automation, and tooling based on customer workflows
Collaborate with customers to deeply understand their infrastructure, architecture, and goals
Work closely with internal product and engineering teams to translate field learnings into product improvements
Act as the technical lead during implementations or critical projects
Deliver POCs, custom prototypes, and integrations as needed
Occasionally travel to customer sites for deployment, integration, or discovery workshops (if applicable)
Requirements
3+ years experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar technical role
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript, Java)
Strong understanding of modern infrastructure (cloud services, APIs, CI/CD, containers)
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in production environments
Comfortable working directly with customers and cross-functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bonus (but Not Required)
Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., solutions engineer, sales engineer, dev advocate)
Familiarity with machine learning, generative AI, LangGraph
Experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
Willingness to travel occasionally
