UX Designer

Job Summary
Our client, a leading entertainment and media provider, is seeking a UX Designer to join their Digital Experience Design team. This is a hands-on role for a designer who pairs strong visual craft with practical UX thinking, owning much of the day-to-day design of the Business site and helping shape a new dark-mode design expression for the brand. As the primary designer focused on this experience, you'll have significant ownership and a meaningful hand in evolving the visual language and component system. A portfolio is required, demonstrating exceptional visual craft, UX thinking, and design-systems experience. This is required for consideration. Please include portfolio in your resume.
Core Responsibilities
Own design for Business digital merchandising and acquisition experiences, from early concepts and wireframes through polished, production-ready designs
Translate complex products, offers, and business requirements into experiences that feel clear, compelling, and easy to navigate
Help evolve the Business site toward a new dark-mode design expression, contributing ideas, patterns, and component enhancements along the way
Create polished layouts and web-ready assets with strong attention to hierarchy, composition, typography, imagery, and interaction
Build and modify robust Figma components using properties, variants, variables, auto layout, and other scalable design-system practices
Partner closely with a producer, business owner, developers, and the broader Experience Design team to move work from idea to launch
Apply UX and accessibility best practices, including WCAG standards, and use research, testing, analytics, and A/B testing insights to continuously improve experiences
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
Experience designing customer-facing web experiences, particularly merchandising, commerce, acquisition, or marketing experiences
A strong foundation in UX, interaction design, information hierarchy, and usability
Excellent visual design skills with a sharp eye for composition, typography, imagery, spacing, and detail
Strong production-design skills and experience preparing digital assets for the web
Advanced proficiency in Figma, including auto layout, components, variants, component properties, variables, and libraries
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
Understanding of responsive web design and the realities of designing for production
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
Experience working within, or ideally contributing to, established design systems
Motion design, animation, After Effects, or video experience
User testing and A/B testing experience
Content design or strong UX writing instincts
B2B, e-commerce, or subscription-based product experience
Experience using AI tools within a creative workflow (e.g., ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, Claude, or Figma AI) to accelerate production, explore concepts, or refine imagery

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $37.00 and $54.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
