Role Description The Site Civil Engineer will work full time on-site in Barak Valley, Assam, India, overseeing day-to-day civil construction activities and ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising site works, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, monitoring material usage and quality, and assisting in the planning and scheduling of project activities. The role involves checking levels and layouts, supporting stormwater and drainage systems implementation, preparing basic site reports, and communicating progress and issues to project management. The Site Civil Engineer will also help resolve technical challenges at the site and ensure compliance with local regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills relevant to site development and infrastructure projects.
Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction sites, with exposure to field supervision and execution.
Planning skills for scheduling, resource allocation, and coordinating day-to-day site activities.
Knowledge of building and road construction is a must
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Familiarity with basic construction codes, standards, and safety practices applicable to civil works.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with site staff and stakeholders.
Proficiency with standard engineering tools and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, CAD exposure is an advantage).
Prior experience in infrastructure or real estate projects in India, especially in Assam or similar regions, is an added benefit.
